Quenched and Tempered (Q&T) steel plates are high-strength, toughened steel plates manufactured through a two-stage heat treatment process: quenching (rapid cooling) followed by tempering (controlled reheating). This process significantly enhances the plate’s strength, hardness, impact resistance, and toughness.
These plates are widely used in structural and pressure vessel fabrication, mining equipment, construction machinery, military armor, bridges, and offshore structures, especially where weight reduction without compromising strength is essential.
